Our Process

After you express interest in our services, we will arrange for Kat to contact you for an initial phone consultation. During this call, she will discuss key details of your project, allowing us to gather the necessary information and ensure we are well-prepared for the next stage: the on-site meeting.

At a mutually convenient time, Josh and Kat will visit your home or project site to discuss your vision, understand your priorities, and gather essential measurements and details. This process ensures we have the necessary information to bring your dream project to life. This is tailored to each client’s individual needs and we are comfortable working with clients with a clear and strong vision and also clients who need some extra support and suggestions along the way.

Our team will then begin the creative process, developing scaled drawings and renders of your project. We will collaborate via email, refining the design until all elements align with your vision and expectation. There will be a once off flat fee for this design which also includes the certification and engineering costs for your project. The price of this will be outlined before we proceed into this stage. We handle all the necessary paperwork to streamline the process for you. This includes working with our Certifiers and Engineers to prepare detailed drawings and assembling a comprehensive contract package. Additionally, we will coordinate and secure all required planning approvals, ensuring your project complies with all regulations and proceeds smoothly.

While Josh oversees the documentation process in collaboration with key partners, Kat will work closely with clients to finalize selections. This process can be guided by clients with a clear vision, or Kat can provide recommendations to ensure cohesive and complementary choices that enhance the overall project.

Upon acceptance of the quotation, a Final Contract will be prepared for your review and approval. These documents will provide a comprehensive and detailed overview of all aspects of the construction, outlining both inclusions and exclusions within the building contract.

It’s time to bring your vision to life. Throughout the construction process, you can place your trust in the team at J and K Projects. Our experienced and skilled tradespeople, alongside our dedicated site supervisor, ensure that the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout the project.

As construction progresses, we will reach key milestones at which progress claims will be submitted for payment. You will be kept informed at each stage, and site meetings can be requested by either party if necessary.

Regular updates will also be provided via phone or email.

The project is nearing completion! We will schedule a final meeting to review the work together, ensuring that you are satisfied with the quality of all finishes. Following this, we will prepare the final documents for your approval and sign-off.
